Este Darin-Cooper

Este is Co-founder and Director of the Darin-Cooper Foundation (est 2014) and leads the Foundation’s grant making, sector engagement and impact investing strategy. Este is passionate about the power of arts and culture to build communities and foster social cohesion. Este has had a diverse career across the private, public and not-for profit sectors. After studying Law/Engineering (1st class hons) at the University of Melbourne, she practiced at top-tier commercial law firms, before joining the Federal Government in a role advising Government, businesses and start-ups on emerging technologies and data policy. Most recently Este worked at Social Ventures Australia – initially in the consulting team and then as Director of Venture Philanthropy, where she partnered directly with funders and early-stage ventures to resource, prove and grow more effective models for addressing disadvantage. She is currently State Manager (NSW/ACT) at Creative Partnerships Australia, where she provides capacity building support to arts organisations to grow investment in the cultural sector.
